Each registrant received a special passport that needs to be signed by each participating brand and must be returned to the registration booth to qualify for the raffle and games.

The activities kicked off with a Yoga class with Urban Ashram. It was an almost 1 and a half hour of stretching and breathing. The day was perfect for the activity as the sun gave its shine and was complemented with a perfect cool temperature.

HealthJunkie.ph’s #LoveYourBody Fair 2016 Media Launch

Health Junkie celebrates strong women, launches #LoveYourBody Fair 2016 at the Greenfiled District Showroom Mandaluyong City, February 5, 2016.

Health Junkie, your go-to resource for doable exercise, healthy recipes, and happy lifestyle tips, is launching something big this year.

Heath Junkie’s readership comprises mostly of young female professionals within the age group of 18-34 years old who are either looking into ways to jump start their healthy lifestyle or women who are seeking for a community to share their passion for health and fitness with.

“Health Junkie is more than just a blog; it’s a community.” says founder Tonette Nicolas. “We’ve always known that women are strong, but we’re also human. We have insecurities and fears which can sometimes get the better of us. That is why having a community who understands and doesn’t judge is important. We’re here to support each other as we strive for a healthier and more active lifestyle.”

It all starts with loving your body

Given the wide array of diets available and different exercises to try, it can get overwhelming. The truth is, there’s no single solution; what works for one person may not yield the same result for another. The one thing that can certainly work for everyone is choosing to be kind-to love your body.

We often tend to focus on what we hate about our body, but what if we actually start loving it? Loving your body is about giving it proper nutrition, strengthening your body with exercise, training yourself not too worry too much and giving yourself enough time to recharge.

#LoveYourBody Fair 2016

Health Junkie is committed to providing value to its readers. “We want to help educate the community about the choices available to them. Hence, the #LoveYourBody Fair. We want to connect our community with brands who also value health, fitness, and wellness in general,” says Tonette. “We’re grateful to have Greenfield District’s support as we know that they align with our values as well.”

#LoveYourBody Fair 2016 is set to happen on February 20, Saturday at the Greenfield District Central Park, United St., Mandaluyong. The fitness activities will start at 7:00 AM, along with the wellness bazaar, which may coincide with Greenfield Weekend Market.

“We’re happy to host this year’s #LoveYourBody Fair,” says Jacq Brabante of Greenfield District. “It’s at the heart of Greenfield District to provide our community with activities that can enrich their lives. If anything, we really want them to enjoy every time they’re at the Greenfield Central Park.”

Activities include Zumba class by Ms. Regine Tolentino, Yoga classes by Urban Ashram Yoga, Running Clinic by Coach Jared Baliguat, and free talks about loving your body and having a healthier lifestyle. With a Heart, Fashion Show & Dinner for a Cause

It has always been a must for the PMCM Events Management team to give back to the community. With our 5 fruitful years, we are thankful for our blessings and sharing it to others is a responsibility for us.

This year, in cooperation with This is Our Charity Home Inc. and The Voice of the Unknown, we organized the “With a Heart, Fashion Show and Dinner for a Cause”. This special event held last February 6, 2016, at the Iris Building, Tivoli Square Garden Residences, Mandaluyong City, is for the benefit of the following recipients: Ronelo Joven Jr. 14 years old, Princess Joven 9 years old, Christine Friday Joven 6 years old and Trina Rose 3 years old. These kids are all diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta or Brittle Bones and Leukemia.

The fashion show showcased the designs of Mr. JV Victorino (Michael Cinco’s designing assistant) and the dinner was served by Chef Jun Caylao.

Everyone enjoyed the event with some song performances, raffle gifts and cute kids modelling their dresses.

This fund raising project wouldn’t be possible without the help of some of our sponsors: Asian Secrets, Puting Walang Tinatago, Puting Prinsesa; Caronia, #KeepThingsColorful; EB Advance by Ever Bilena, Beauty Shines in You; and Jergens, The Secret to Deeply Luminous Skin

The PMCM Events Team would also like to thank all those who attended the event and donated pledges. For more inquiries about This is Our Charity Home Inc., you may call the Ms Weenah Victorino (Founder) at 09063282585 or PMCM Events Management at 5053746 / 09178344978
